Porter and Chester Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The Medical Assisting program is accredited by the American Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). The Dental Assisting program at our Chicopee, MA, Enfield, Rocky Hill, Stratford, and Branford, CT, branches is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
In 2009, Porter and Chester Institute received the School of Excellence Award from ACCSCT which recognizes schools for their commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSCT accreditation.
