Not all programs are offered at all Branches

Electronics Systems Technician

This course provides students with training in the technology used to build today's modern electronic devices, particularly in the areas of security and telecommunications. From basic electronics and electrical circuits, to the latest use of lasers and fiber optics for use in data and voice communications, you will learn how electronic devices work, how to design them, and how to build them. With a solid foundation in technical training, problem solving, and communications skills, by the time you graduate, you'll have sufficient knowledge and skill to obtain employment for entry-level positions in electronics technology.

Depending on your personal needs and situation you attend classes either in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Morning and afternoon classes meet for 12 months and consist of 60 credit hours (1200 actual hours) of instruction. The attendance schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:40 PM or 12:50 PM to 6:00 PM.

Evening classes meet for 18 months and consist of 48 credit hours (960 actual hours) of instruction. The attendance schedule is Monday through Wednesday from 6:05 PM to 10:40 PM.

The Electronics Technology Program is offered in Branford, Rocky Hill, Stratford and Watertown CT.

Classes begin in January, April, July, and October.
